To the Church Scattered…
Today, a message is sent forth… to the further most ends of the earth… to the church scattered… standing on the holy hill (Psalms 43: 3-5), the watchman speaks (Isaiah 21:12). Awake… Arise… for Gods salvation is at hand (Romans 13: 11).
Being united into one body, baptized together in Christ (1 Corinthians 12: 12-13),, quickened by the same one Spirit (Rom 8: 16), called to one hope (Ephesians 4: 4) shall, as one man, with one mind (Philippians 2:2) and one mouth (Romans 15: 6), thereby praise God, who is one (Deuteronomy 6: 4) and his name one (Ephesians 4: 4-6; 1 Pet 1: 2).
We stand together as one (Deuteronomy 11: 25), united in Christ (Romans 6: 5). In that day, when the Lord shall do these great things, you and I shall say, I will praise you, O Lord!
“You shall say in that day: “I will give thanks to you, O LORD, for though you were angry with me, your anger turned away, that you might comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. “Sing praises to the LORD, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 12: 1-6).
The church shall say so. The promises are sure, the blessings exceedingly rich, lavished in love (Ephesians 1:8) and furnish the church, the body scattered, cause for great rejoicing and thanksgiving. It is true. The Old Testament prophecies regarding the gospel have been fulfilled. They all have come true! What inestimable benefits we enjoy in Jesus Christ. What scandalous mercy He has given to you… to me.
Let us… the church abroad… scattered for God’s glory and fame, Arise as one and say so!
