Praising God For His Glory…
I wrote the following post on Friday morning before coming but not internet in the airports…
Well… malaria prophylaxis started, work responsibilities turned over, craft projects for 150 children organized by day… the packing finally complete… and waiting for take-off… belted, buckled, and stowed… Whew!
I am so excited I could bust! I can’t wait to see how tall the kids have grown and if new teeth have erupted where spaces use to be…
As I sit here in my window seat and alone in my row, my mind wanders as is oft the case after early morning risings, towards Ephesians 3: 20,
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…”
Looking back, we have said many prayers asking God to will and to work, accomplishing many things for His glory but I wonder….
What are the things that He will do in the Philippines that we haven’t imagined?
This word promises that His outcomes will be infinitely greater than what we have asked or even imagined. My heart is beating a little faster, even in my sleep deprived state, as I contemplate this fact. God is so wonderfully mysterious and always lavishly loves us beyond measure or what we deserve…
Maybe you are like me in that He has already shown you many, many miraculous things… as He wills and works showing us His glory…Again 2 Cor 2: 9 ” no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him…”
By the way we are staying at a hotel that has a bird sanctuary… You would love it Lindsay…
Father may you open our sleepy eyes, awaken our dull brains, and quicken your grace towards us, so that we will see You and You alone as you work.
