Living Grace
Her name is A’shadieeyah. She lives in a country where it is very dangerous to follow Christ. A’shadieeyah was first drawn to Jesus because of the compassion He showed towards women – something she’s experienced little of in her life. She has heard the story of Christ for a number of years. Like many Muslims, she says that she loves Jesus, but because of her spiritual blindness, she had never understood that His sacrifice was meant for her. Even though she had heard His story and liked what she heard, she struggled to fully wrap her heart around it all and what it would mean for her life. Then a couple months ago, in a conversation with a Christ follower, the Spirit opened her eyes to the fact that she was personally in need of a Savior! We now have a new sister who is learning to love Jesus with her life. Pray for A’shadieeyah that she will experience the fullness of His Spirit. Pray for her as she is realizing what it means to be a first fruit. Ask that she catch the vision to share the Good News with those around her and that a community of faith would soon surround her. Pray also for other men and women like A’shadieeyah -those that have heard Truth, but don’t understand how it could change their lives.
Colossians 1:5-6
“When the true message, the Good News, first came to you, you heard about the hope it offers. So your faith and love are based on what you hope for, which is kept safe for you in heaven. The gospel keeps bringing blessings and is spreading throughout the world, just as it has among you ever since the day you first heard about the grace of God and came to know it as it really is”.
Thank you Heavenly Father for reaching out to all people with Your goodness. You are good. You are holy. You are sacred. Without Your holiness, there wouldn’t be any good in the world.
Thank you Lord Christ for giving us grace. You are Living Grace sent from heaven. It is in this Grace that we have hope for heaven. Grace awaits us in heaven. And it is this hope that sustains us and to which, we patiently wait for” (Romans 8: 24-25).
Thank you God for sending the good news as a traveler to sojourn all over the world, bringing hope to Your people. For You are faithful, never-changing, Everlasting to Everlasting. We pray that the blessing of Messiah will arrive in every city, to every people, every nation and in every tongue. It is for Your glory that we seek and intercede. We pray that all people will meet Living Grace, the hope of heaven. We pray that the good news traveler will continue to travel on this great journey until all have heard. In this we pray. Amen.
